The modern world proved that to be a model, you don’t have to be young, thin, and with perfect skin. As time passes, people are getting more aware that beauty doesn’t have any standards and that everyone is beautiful in their own way.
A 26-year-old model Sara Geurts, who suffers from a rare skin condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, is teaching everyone to accept and love themselves every time she shares a new post.

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a condition that impedes the production of the collagen responsible for the skin’s elasticity and makes her look much older than she actually is.
All her life, Sara was embarrassed and upset by the syndrome, and she was always covering herself up until she finally built up her self-esteem and found a strength to show her body in public and support others who are struggling with self-image.

Geurts also faced hate comments because she fell in love with a girl, but she is trying to show the world that, no matter what, it is important to have someone by your side who you love, and most importantly to love yourself first!
