Layers

Party Favor has had quite the come-up. He has played numerous festivals and shows across the world, including the likes of Lollapalooza and Coachella. All the while, he’s showed the world how much he has to offer musically. If you have had the pleasure of witnessing one of his shows, you know that it’s a party every time. He’s released plenty of great music over the years, but on April 26th he released his debut album, Layers. The album has quite a few features, including graves, GTA, Lil Baby, and Rich the Kid, to name a few. Before the album drop, Party Favor released two singles to get fans ready. “Wait a Minute” and “Dreams” are both songs that accurately represent the album. One is a song that makes listeners want to party, and one is a mixture of that in addition to hitting some feels.

Layers Shows Us the Layers of Party Favor

Layers is quite the compilation. Listeners hear the original sound that Party Favor has used as his unique identifier, along with a vast variety of other styles. As to be expected, every song in Layers is a high-energy tune with a great beat. Some veer toward the heavy bass side, and some veer toward a feeling that brings listeners in a little deeper to see who Party Favor is. Many of the songs within represent an important piece of his life, which has ultimately lead to where he is today. Additionally, the album cover reflects these pieces as well. From representing his early life in Utah, his move to Los Angeles to pursue music, to the symbolism of 25 being the age where his career took off. Above all, these pieces let us get to know him better, which really shows his character.

Each and every song is unique in their own way, and Layers is altogether a great collection of music. Take a listen to the album below.
