Alesso and DubVision have combined forces to release a progressive house single, “One Last Time”. Out now on Astralwerks, this is Alesso’s first release of the year, and it brings fans back to the beginning. Alesso has had tremendous success testing the boundaries of house music throughout the years. Although all his creations have been phenomenal, it’s always refreshing to be brought back to the place where you first fell in love with an artist. Stemming back to 2012, Alesso’s first major hit was “Calling (Lose My Mind)”, a very progressive house tune. “One Last Time” really reminds listeners of the beginning, paying homage to what brought Alesso to the limelight.
While Alesso’s touch to the song is prevalent, it’s clear DubVision left their mark on the track as well. The upbeat drops paired with the soulful lyrics and meaning behind this song really hit the listener right off the bat. “One Last Time” is a song that brings you to the dancefloor with your closest friends to dance the night away. Progressive house is making a comeback and we hope it’s here to stay!
