You can\’t blame the man for trying. While this Hi-LO (Oliver Heldens) edit of Meet Her at the Love Parade tries very hard to remake the 90s vibe, I feel as though it just isn\’t there.

The edit takes away from the transcendental allure of the original (below) and is not as palatable as the classic. The drop is abrasive and takes away from every element that makes the classic so great. Oliver\’s efforts are appreciated, and I look forward to hearing more remixes to 90s electronic music, but I\’ll pass on this one.
