SoundCloud is one of the greatest websites for music discovery around. As the platform continues to grow in size and competition, they are seeking new ways to get ahead. From advertisements to streaming limits and take downs to paid subscriptions, the website is receiving some serious criticism.

Most recently, SoundCloud has decided to temporarily ban users for reposting too much. The platform has definitely changed direction since they started. The shift in SoundCloud\’s goals as a business are altering their reputation as a community-oriented, music discovery website.
