In a rather unsurprising turn of events, Martin Garrix has officially announced that he will be joining Justin Bieber\’s \”Purpose Tour\” as it heads to Australia early next year. The 19-year-old Dutch wunderkind will be accompanying Bieber on every step during the month of March, and will likely brew some new tunes from the duo.

Both Bieber and Garrix are managed by Scooter Braun, and moreover his company SB Projects, so it isn\’t surprising that the two are working together, and have recently begun to be close friends, but it is a very odd mix to say the least.

The timing will be almost impeccable, however, as Garrix recently disclosed in a recent interview with Billboard that his debut album will be finished soon, and a release should be slated for shortly after. Given timelines in the music industry, I\’d say that would lie very close to the beginning of 2017 – and the tour with Bieber would be some very nice promotion for Martin Garrix and his new music.
