Everyone\’s favorite future bass producer, Nick Miller, better known under the moniker Illenium, has just released two new amazing tracks off his upcoming album, Ashes, which is set for a February 15th release. If you haven\’t yet heard of this melodic rising star, then where exactly have you really been? The Denver-based producer has been making his steady ascent into the electronic dance music since early 2014, although it was his signing with Madison House (the same people who represent Bassnectar) around this same time last year that prompted his explosion onto the 2015 festival circuit (with appearances at Electric Forest, Imagine, and Dancefestopia…to name a few). This year, Illenium is already booked for a busy June, with appearances at The Untz Festival and MysterylandUSA (and more to surely come as festival line-ups get released over the next few months).

If you have yet to grace your ears with this talented up-and-comer\’s unique and infectious sound, which fuses key stylistic elements of some of his genre-breaking mentors–from ODESZA\’s use of live drums to Sound Remedy\’s slow and emotional build-ups–into his own immersive melodic bass experience. Any Illenium track will take you on a journey of emotional highs and lows that tugs on the heart strings and hits the soul deep with his budding bass lines and brilliant synths. The San Fransisco native has also tackled some big-name official remixes over the past year, including Galantis\’ Gold Dust, ODEZSA\’s Always This Late, and Kaskade\’s Disarm You, which earned the recognition of all three globally-known artists.
