The Bob Marley quote was made famous in Drake\’s 2010 hit song \”Over.\” Chicago artists Hi Five and Xonic have taken that memorable line and created a bass/future house song around it, available for free download now.
Both artists have been rising in Chicago\’s music scene. Xonic has recently opened for Kaskade, and Hi Five will be opening for Eptic, Must Die!, and Laxx on the Never Say Die tour.
\”I\’ve loved this Drake sample for a long time and always wanted to turn it into a dance track.\” Xonic said. \”Hi Five designed a nasty little bass one day and we played around with some basslines around the sample. We\’re proud of it and happy to get it out there.\”
