Every year DJ Mag puts out a list ranking the \”Top 100 DJs\” and it never fails to antagonize producers/DJs and fans alike. A two-time winner and currently ranked #3 on the list, Hardwell was not afraid to rebuke this (senseless) list.
At a Revealed Recordings party during the Amsterdam Dance Event, Hardwell heatedly explains how the list can adversely affect an artist’s career such as Atmozfears, a Dutch hardstyle producer.
This guy doesn\’t get the chance to play the big fucking festivals, but he\’s a way better producer than me. But he doesn\’t get the chance so he\’s never gonna be on the fucking list so that\’s fake. Fuck the DJ Mag.
