The headlines seem to keep coming just to haunt the disaster that was Fyre Festival. While Billy McFarland and Ja Rule are facing a class-action lawsuit for the many injustices that occurred this past weekend, McFarland told Rolling Stone that 81% of attendants would like to attend the 2018 festival, as opposed to receiving a refund.

Attendees of the festival this past weekend paid top dollar and expected to see performances by Major Lazer and Disclosure, and to party with celebrities like Kendall Jenner (who posted on social media about the event), but instead they got a wrecked campsite and little supplies to survive. It’s hard to believe that most attendees would be willing to go back and try this a second time. Not to mention the tarnished reputation that the festival’s organizers are going to face when trying to plan next year’s event.

We can only hope the attendees of the festival receive what they deserve amidst this chaos.
