Dillon Francis is one artist I can say I can’t get enough of. Starting with “Bossa Rocka” and IDGAFOS even to Dillon’s Snapchat account he has simply made a name for himself over the years. Dillon’s most recent and first full length album “Money Sucks, Friends Rule” which was released last October has shown people how good of a producer Dillon really is. While not having a chance to stray away from his classic moombahton sound, he finally got one and he took it. With a song such as “Get Low” which was produced with DJ Snake it gave him a chance to show that he can produce an extremely successful pop sounding song. It was then that we got a glimpse of a more mainstream Dillon. Not only did it top 2014’s charts and had spots in movies and commercials it helped build a bigger name for Dillon Francis. Only having released a few remix’s since his last album including a remix off of Zomboy’s new album “Resurrected” nobody had any idea what he was working on until now.

There were rumors circulating for the past few months about Dillon Francis collaborating with big names such as Skrillex and Calvin Harris for his upcoming EP. Earlier in April though they put those rumors to rest when Calvin Harris tweeted a picture of a Barney the purple dinosaur with the caption “Collaboration with Dillon Francis is done”. Since then there has just been hype and guess what? Even more hype. That was up until this week at the HARD tour in Toronto.

Lucky concert goers of the HARD Tour got not only a taste but a full dose of the mysterious collaboration Dillon had complete with Calvin Harris. Premiering the song in it’s entirety during his set on the tour Dillon was able to show the fans what he has been working on. Not only does the collaboration live up to the hype it is also Dillon’s return to his classic Moombahton sound that we all love.  Just getting a glimpse of Dillon Francis’ latest projects can give you an idea of how well put together the EP will sound and also the album he will be releasing in August. Now we just play the waiting game a little longer for the Skrillex & Dillon Francis collaboration to be uncovered.
