After teasing some brand new music over on Instagram, and sending lucky fans a new track, Avicii has finally returned to the community and announced that he will be releasing a brand-new EP next Thursday, August 10th.
The EP, titled “Avīci“, will likely feature the 6 songs he hinted at on Instagram – and judging by the previews we’ve heard thus far, it’s definitely going to be a traditional Avicii record with uplifting and distinctly energetic sounds.
Avicii has announced the EP over on his Twitter, where he has also supplied a Spotify pre-save link for those who wish to do so. This will mark Avicii’s first project in just about 2 years, so we’re excited to see whether this marks a full comeback.
