Here in Chicago, Lollapalooza and Spring Awakening are possibly the biggest festivals in Chicago, with North Coast slowly coming up on the rise. But despite Lolla, SAMF, Ultra and other EDM-centric festivals, there are so many other festivals in the US, you might not even know half of them. Popular ticket distributor Eventbrite posted a small PDF detailing the \”science\” of music festivals in the United States. The PDF contains information about conversation analysis, audience demographics and much more, and it\’s far more interesting than you\’d expect it to be. However amongst all that other information, is the list of the top 25 most buzzed-about festivals in America. Of course it contains festivals like Coachella and Ultra, but it also has smaller ones like Sun City and Forecastle.
