At the beginning of 2016, concert producer SFX Entertainment declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy and attempted to execute a deal that would essentially wipe away $300 million in debt that SFX had accrued. The company\’s stock continued to plummet, and recently, the company stated that one of their events, TomorrowWorld, would not be held this year likely due to budget constraints the company is probably currently under. The documents the company had to give up during the bankruptcy filing is extensive, however, a recent discovery within one of the documents details not only artist bookings for many upcoming festivals, but also reveals what could be the full lineup to this year\’s Spring Awakening.

The document showcases assumption tables that are split based on artist agencies, and within, state the agency, date of show, artist and the venue in which they\’d be playing at. After reviewing the documents, the venue \”Spring Awakening\” under dates 2016 have showed up, and it seems that some, if not, all of the artists that will be playing have been uncovered.

Without further adieu, here are the expected artists to be performing at this year\’s Spring Awakening:

deadmau5

Skrillex

Above & Beyond

As it stands, 35 artists are expected to play during the 3-day festival, that is said to have two mainstages. While it seems there are some great artists performing, the lineup leaves a little more to be desired, especially after Lollapalooza really put its foot down in terms of grabbing up EDM acts for this year\’s event. However, this document only covers 4 artist agencies, and thus, could be deemed incomplete. These artists have not officially confirmed they\’d be playing at the festival, nor has Spring Awakening, however, we\’re positive we\’ll be seeing these artists at SAMF and hopefully a few more.
