Early this morning, dance music enthusiasts woke up to a surprise bound to put a kick in anyone\’s step — the viral release of \”Shelter.\” The highly-anticipated collab is now officially available on iTunes and Spotify.
Well the timing couldn\’t be more perfect, as the two followed up the release with a joint headlining tour announcement. That\’s right, Porter and Madeon will be taking 17 U.S. cities on a highly imaginative Adventure and deep into their respective Worlds (see what we did there?) as they perform simultaneously. The feels will be reals for audiences lucky enough to experience the 100% live reinterpretation of each other\’s catalogs. Madeon, who provides the vocals on the track, had this to say:
Both Porter and I started working with people in-person when we started making our respective albums and appreciated how much more collaborative you can get. Our intent was to make music that would reflect our friendship.
