Yesterday, Moonrise Festival exceeded all our expectations with their 2016 Phase 1 Lineup release — with headliners Zedd, Tiësto, and (for the third year in a row) Bassnectar — and let\’s just call this one arguably the most diverse EDM lineup of the season! Well, diversity that doesn\’t come at the high cost of EDCLV and Electric Forest GA tickets at $400 a pop.

Everyone is going to pleased with this year\’s stacked list of DJs/producers. Some trance and house highlights include the legendary Ilan Bluestone and Tchami, along with Oliver Heldons, Tritonal, Anna Lunoe, Hermitude, Justin Jay, Shaun Frank, Unlike Pluto, and Valentino Kahn; with future bass appearances by Han Solo, Jauz, and Marshmello; as well as more hard and heavy house producers Bro Safari, Ghastly and Kayzo.

In addition, Flosstradamus and Yellow Claw will surely please the festival trap goers with their twerking tunes and some deep bass lines; with dubstep influenced artists Excision, Flux Pavilion, NGHTMRE, and Bear Grillz rounding out the bass heavy line-up alongside future funky electro-soul legends Sound Tribe Sector 9, GRiZ, and GraMatik (we\’re hoping for a GrizMatik set over here). There\’s even a few hip-hop offerings this year to really diversify things with Tyler The Creator and Young Thug joining the mix. And, of course, the Bassnectar family never fails to deliver some interesting little controversy at every festival ground they follow their bass deity to.

 

The third annual gathering will be held in Baltmore, Maryland at Pimlico Race Course this August 6th & 7th! Tickets are available HERE, with current pricing tiers running $155 for Advance GA 1 and $255 for Advance VIP 1.
