Russian House music legend Proxy whose decade-spanning portfolio includes projects with music icons like The Prodigy and Marilyn Manson is back from a year-long hiatus with his diverse, 4-track ‘Collusion EP’ on Night Bass Records featuring AC Slater and more. A proper legend who burst onto the scene earning respect from heavyweights like Justice, Soulwax, and Erol Alkan, his astonishing, severe tracks became fan favorites like “Decoy” and his massive 2011 hit “Raven. The EP begins with “Have Some Fun,” a collaboration with the Night Bass Records label head himself, AC Slater, then picks up the pace with the euphoric bass house cut “No More.” The journey peaks with “Fitness” and its huge basslines then comes to a dramatic close with “Poltora,” a collaboration with well-known Russian producer DZA which is a taste of Proxy’s new flavor of tech house.
