\"image3\"Every day, 5,000 children under the age of  five die from a water-borne illness and well over one billion people don\’t have any access to clean water.

Imagine if every show you attended, every track that you\’ve danced to, every night you\’ve spent raging away, you could be contributing to a greater cause? That\’s what Patrick Brown, Luca Rietti and Michael Cohen have created through their project, AQUA. Putting on over 20 shows, with amazing headliners such as Hardwell, Tiesto, The Chainsmokers, 3LAU, Dyro, Dannic, and numerous others; these two have created something incredible. The mission of the company allows audience members to make a direct impact, as every ticket sold is a direct donation of 1 month of clean water to a school in Ghana, which is the equivalent of about 300 bottles of water. AQUA helps transform the music community to help directly affect and improve the lives of those in another country and help provide them with safe, sanitary water.

AQUA has partnered with the wonderful charity WATERisLIFE to collaborate on this mission. Their goal is \”to provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene programs. Saving Lives. Transforming Communities.\” Every attendees donation is put into a fund to purchase \’life straws\’ and sanitation stations. AQUA\’s goal is to deliver these to communities and help educate them on the importance of sanitation and hygiene to help prevent water borne diseases. After being able to travel to those communities and filming the journey, AQUA hopes to reach out to many others, being able to touch their hearts and show the direct impact of how music could help those in need.

The way that AQUA impacts the music community is they put on an insanely innovative 3D water hollogram show and bring about some of the most influential DJs in the industry. The production of the water effects provides a whole new level of experience to the audience. With the contributions from every attendee, AQUA has raised 8 years of clean water for an entire school in Ghana so far.

\”The scary part is, I know what we are doing is so basic compared to what we are capable. This truly is just the beginning and the future is not far away,\” Patrick Brown, Co-Founder of AQUA said, \”It\’s our first step towards our larger goal of influencing the music industry to follow our model in making impact. For real change, it takes a village. It\’s not about the large gifts from a few, but the small sacrafices of many. We hope you can join us to reach our goal and begin transformation in Ghana.\”
