One of Monsterdcat\’s most versatile artists, Varien, is back in action this time under an entirely new alias, Koinu. While it may be a departure both sonically and even aesthetically from what made him well known, Koinu is sure to bring something unique to the table that will capture your attention.
His remix of \”Ice Ice\” by Hyuna is his first step towards that. Blending the sounds of bass music with far eastern influences, Koinu is beginning to bring a world of untapped potential to fruition. Self described as \”Hard Beats x Kawaii Vibes\” we\’re intrigued to see what more develops under this mysterious side project. Even the font is a mystery to me; how on earth am I supposed to replicate those characters?
