Memorial Day is a signature weekend for festivals (Mysteryland in the infamous Woodstock grounds, EDC NY in Citi Field, Movement in Detroit, Michigan, etc.), but now one of the infamous festivals on Memorial Day is changing it\’s date.
Mysterland is the longest EDM festival still going strong. It started in 1993 in The Netherlands and now has a festival in South America and North America.
SFX Entertainment -the maker of Mysteryland and Tomorrowland- plan to change the date from Memorial Day weekend to June 10-12 2016. The main reason why they are doing is so they don\’t have to compete with EDC NY. It was always a hard decision to make to either go to Mysteryland or EDC NY, so SFX made it easier and changed the date.
