Back in February, attendees of the popular Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival were elated to find out that world-class composer Hans Zimmer would be hitting the main stage on both April 16th and 23rd of the festival. The music figure will bring along a full orchestra and is expected to play popular numbers from his many movie scores. Earlier today, it was announced that fans will also be able to catch the riveting performance at 18 additional shows on the composer’s first North American tour.
The tour will start on April 14th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, stop in San Francisco and Las Vegas, then make its way through Europe and Australia until July. Once it returns to North America, fans can attend the show at iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theater, in addition to mega-venues like Allstate Arena.
Zimmer is best known for his Grammy-winning compositions including the Pirates of the Caribbean films, The Lion King and Inception.
