Although the third day of the 2014 Electric Zoo Festival had to be shut down due to inclement weather conditions – including lightning and high winds – the festival will be refunding all Sunday ticket holders. This includes the Sunday portion of the 2-day and 3-day passes.
Electric Zoo announced this just hours ago on their Facebook page, easing the anger of many annoyed festival-goers:
The festival was open for a few hours on Sunday, but Electric Zoo made the wise decision of refunding in full to maintain its fan base. Comments on the Facebook page already indicate that many customers are happy with the decision and will definitely head back in 2015. Of course the situation is not ideal, but the first two days of Electric Zoo, along with this recently announced refund, provide hope for future of the festival.
