Panorama (also known as \”East Coast Coachella\”) officially is on, with set dates:

News surrounding Panorama Festival, aptly dubbed an “East Coast Coachella,” surfaced in September – though the inaugural event had initially hoped to attain a spot in Queens’ Corona Park. Panorama was also slated to take place just two weeks after New York’s famed Governors Ball, but was quickly shot down after its producer Founders Entertainment set forth a petition to prevent the festival from taking place during the same month.

The festival has since taken a 360-degree turn and will instead call Randall’s Island Park its official home. From July 22-24, the park will be brimming with “Three days of music, art, technology, and local food offerings,” for which Goldenvoice is best known.

In spite of settling for a less-than-ideal Randall’s Island this year, Goldenvoice will continue its efforts to host an event at Corona Park in the coming years.

There was a huge dilemma between Governor\’s Ball and Panorama, with concerns that these two concerts are too close together, but Panorama and Governors Ball are seven weeks away. You ready for a new festival?
