In recent years, Dirtybird, San Francisco\’s own booty-shakin house label, has really hit its stride. Other than a series of great new artists like Ardalan and Shiba San, as well a pile of top notch new releases, Claude Vonstrokes underground brainchild is beginning to find real success outside of the music. DB just recently revamped it\’s entire image with a new online store with all new merchandise, and the annual Dirtybird BBQ has expanded from a free event in SF into a national tour.

But for the first time in 2015, Dirtybird will take yet another step further. In a partnership with the Do Lab, the folks at Dirtybird are proud to bring you their first full weekend festival, the Dirtybird Campout. Taking place October 2-4 at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA, (The former home of Lightning in a Bottle and the current home of Woogie Weekend) the Dirtybird campout will include all the music and dancing you\’d expect from any DB party, but with a full array of summer camp fun on the side.

This is what the website has to say:

\”The Dirtybird Campout is going to be a full summer camp experience. In addition to great music and dancing we’ll be hosting a Dirtybird BBQ, a comedy stage, a talent show, late night movies, plus all of the summer camp activities you would expect including tug of war, boat races, potato sack races, water balloon toss, scavenger hunts, capture the flag, archery, arts & crafts, s’mores, campfire songs, story telling and much more!\”
