For those of you who haven\’t heard of him yet, allow me to introduce to you one of the finest young trap talents to come out of the UK, Ollie O\’Neill. Most know the 18 year old producer by his stage name Hucci and have fallen in love over the past two years with his soft, sensual tracks and remixes such as \”Wings\”, which caught the attention of Ellie Goulding who posted the tune on her Instagram about a month ago when the track first came out.

In addition to pop sensation Ellie Goulding, O\’Neill has caught the attention of numerous other established electronic music artists including Bro Safari and What So Not.

Growing up, Ollie was heavily influenced by hip-hop artists and producers such as AraabMuzik, Big Sean, A$AP Rocky, and Fly Lotus but also enjoyed the vocal and lyrical genius of artists like James Blake and Frank Ocean. In his interview with Turntable Magazine, Ollie described his sound as eclectic, saying he does not \”stick to just one sort of sound so it’s hard to define it. I like trill sounding joints like my remix of \’Angels\’ by The xx, but I’d describe my other trap style in \’Hatch\’ or \’Hustle\’ as quite hard-hitting and solid. I’m not really sure though\”.

Hucci stays true to his hip-hop loving soul in his newest remix of rapper J. Cole\’s \”Forbidden Fruit (feat Kendrick Lamar)\” which includes snippets of Lana Del Rey\’s sexy sighs from her hit \”Born to Die\”. Check out the remix below, follow him on Soundcloud, and keep an eye out for the young talented Hucci in the months to come. Also, if you like his sound, download his latest EP \”Rose Gold\” for free.
