EDC 2016

Festival season is on its downfall for 2015, but now it\’s time to plan 2016… is EDC Las Vegas going to be on your list?

EDC Las Vegas 2016 marks their 20th anniversary at Las Vegas in 2016, so you know Pasquale Rotella has a big plans for this upcoming EDC. Things are already looking a little different starting with the date that tickets go on sale.

I remember buying my EDC Las Vegas tickets last year in November… tickets are going on sale a lot earlier than usual, what gives?

Pasquale Rotella always has reasons why he does things: One of the reasons is that this summer, Nevada lawmakers signed a bill that amended the city’s Live Entertainment Tax, which has been in place since 2004 but never applied to EDC. Now it does, and it’s going to affect not just us but other fests like Burning Man, too.

What the change creates is a 9% tax on the price of admission for all tickets sold starting on October 1st, which is why they’re giving you the opportunity to buy tickets before that date.

If you\’re trying to go to EDC and want to save some cash, you should buy an early bird ticket before October comes around. Tickets will start going on sale September 21st, so get them while you can!
